  • Tournament Director

    Full-Time

    Tournament Director
    30+ hrs a week

    Responsibilities of the Job:
    Help in the overall execution of successful youth sport tournaments. As a TD, your main responsibilities will be:

    -Helping in the research/marketing/promotion of the event(s)
    -Contact new and returning Coaches via e-mail and phone to inform of new opportunites with AC.
    -Maintain day-to-day schedule of events with focus on efficiency & experience
    -Answer questions from parents, coaches, umpires, etc. on various topics (schedule, rules, format of events, etc.)
    -Verify and communicate with Officials to correctly enforce rules, verify & report final scores and make sure game schedules stay on time.
    -Sell & Maintain proper inventory of tournament merchandise (t-shirts, baseballs/softballs, bats, etc.)
    -Capture game(s) images to use via Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
    -Other job tasks as needed/requested by CEO & Director of Operations

    Required Work Experience/Education:
    Minimum: Associate’s Degree
    Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree plus experience in event management (primary focus Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse events/camps/tournaments)

    Skills:
    Must be an excellent communicator; work well with others, personable and outgoing. Not afraid to Cold Call Coaches
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Good typing skills.

  • Site Supervisor / Summer Help

    Part-Time
    20+ hrs a week

    Responsibilities of the Job:
    Help in the overall execution of successful youth sport tournaments. As a Site Supervisor, your main job responsibilities will be:

    -Maintain day-to-day schedule of events with focus on efficiency and time management
    -Answer questions from parents, coaches, umpires, etc. on various topics (schedule, rules, format of events, etc.)
    -Verify and communicate with Officials to correctly enforce rules, verify & report final scores and make sure game schedules stay on time.
    -Sell & Maintain proper inventory of tournament merchandise (t-shirts, baseballs/softballs, bats, etc.)
    -Capture game(s) images to use via Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
    -Other job tasks as needed/requested by CEO, Director of Operations, and Tournament Director

    Required Work Experience/Education:
    Minimum: None
    Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management, Communications, Business, Public Relations or similar area. Experience playing, coaching, event management experience in sports applying for

    Skills:
    Must be an excellent communicator; work well with others, personable and outgoing.
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Internship

    Internship Positions
    Roughly 20+ hours a week

    Responsibilities of the Job:
    -Ability to work independently and with a group
    -Knowledge and ability  on how to search and find new Organizational Contacts to come to events
    -Ability to communicate effectively on the phone with Coaches and Parents.
    -Answer questions from parents, coaches, umpires, etc. of various topics (schedule, rules, format of events, etc.)
    -Verify and communicate with Officials to correctly enforce rules, verify & report final scores and make sure game schedules stay on time.
    -Sell & Maintain proper inventory of tournament merchandise (t-shirts, baseballs/softballs, bats, etc.)
    -Capture game(s) images to use via Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
    -Other job tasks as needed/requested by CEO, Director of Operations, Tournament Director, & Site Supervisor 

    Required Work Experience/Education:
    Minimum: None
    Preferred: Working towards a degree in Sport Management, Business, Public Relations or similar area. Experience in playing, coaching, event management experience of sport you are applying for.
